Yes its absolutely tree, no tricks here. The only thing that people complained about was that they “automatically install” ASK Toolbar WITHOUT offering users the option to uncheck it. But this is no problem right? You can easily go to your control panel> add remove programs> then remove ASK toolbar if you don’t want it.

This is a lite version of Nero, but it really gives you all the basic burning and copying features you need. All that for unlimited time.

You have to enter your E-mail address before you download, then a download box will appear to save the software  on your hard drive.

I stumbled upon a great way to copy an entire DVD movie with just a single click. There are many online tutorials to guide you through the process but sometimes they really don’t work or very complicated.

But with VLC media player, you can record and rip an entire DVD with no hassles or even knowledge of softwares.

VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player and multimedia framework capable of reading most audio and video formats (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, DivX, MPEG-1, mp3, ogg, aac …) as well as DVDs, Audio CDs VCDs, and various streaming protocols

Lets Start ….

1. First download and install VLC media player, ( Its free I promise)
2. Run the software > Go to View > Advanced Controls.
3. You will notice a record button near the play and pause buttons.
4. Start the DVD > Hit Play Then > Click Record.

How To Copy a DVD with VLC

5. After the movie is finished the recorded video is in MPEG format and stored them in the Documents folder labeled as VLC Record with the date and time.

This is a great way to record and save specific scenes only, you don’t have to record the entire movie if you don’t want to. Just pick the scene then click record.

HandBrake is an open-source multiplatform DVD to MPEG-4 convertor for Windows, MacOx and Linux. Now, the new version of HandBrake 0.9.3, can convert any video file, with the new version HanBrake is not limited to DVDs it will now accept practically any type of video as a source.
