GOM Media Player is simply one of the most powerful free media players I have ever used beucase it comes with popular video and audio codecs built-in. GOM Player supports file formats such as AVI, DAT, MPEG, DivX, XviD, WMV, ASF. Users don’t have to install codecs separately.

I was really impressed with GOM performance, its not heavy on slow computer and the quality is just perfect. Once you install the sotware, you will be asked to setup the system based on your computer performance. so if you have a slow computer then you probably need to choose the normal mode.

The great thing about GOM is the capability of playing incomplete or damaged AVI files by skipping the damaged frames. Also It can also play locked or partially downloaded files.
