Nearby tweets is one of coolest twitter application I have ever encountered. The idea of the site is very simple, once you go on the site it automatically based on your IP address would identify your location, then it will give you list of twitterres who tweet near you.

You can change the location easily to find people in a completely different town or state. And after you search for people, you will be able to see their exact location and their tweets.
