One of the main tools I use a lot from Google is the Google books, its great for students, scientist, researchers, and any reader. They have millions of books in variety of topics, science, literature, science fiction, health, medicine, poetry etcc. Some of their books are full preview, which means you can read the full book without purchasing it. Others, are only limited preview, it just gives an idea about the main content of the book.
The only thing I don’t like about their service, is that you have to read the book while you are online. You cannot download it on your desktop and access it whenever you want.
But with Google Book Downloader, you can download any book “full preview” from Google and save it in PDF format on your hard drive, USB flash Drive or any other location free. This gives and easy access to the book anytime, and any where you want.
Few simple step and you would have a library of free books right on your desktop:
- First Download and install Google Book Downloader, then you have to get the “book code”. How to find it, its easy, look at the image below.
- Second, enter the book’s code in the box “Book Code” then click check.
- Third, click on Download All
- Finally, once the process is complete, click on save as. It will save it in PDF format.
Many people reported some bugs and issues with the software, others worked with them just fine. Now, if you are one of the people who cannot download the book, there is another handy utility that will solve the problem.
Download GreeseMonkey add-on and then get the Google Book Downloader script. Now, go to Google books and find that book you want to download, you will see a download button. Click download and save.

Getting songs (or other media) over the Internet is easy; getting it legally, safely, and quickly can be difficult. iMesh is a spyware- and adware-free file sharing program which allows the legal download of a large selection of music. There are two costs–first, there is a monthly subscription service ($8 as of this writing) to listen to your music, unless you pay an additional fee ($1/track in most cases) to “buy” the songs in MP3 format. Second, the music is restricted by DRM (Digital Rights Management) technology,

Text, PDF, and other file types are not permitted. The iMesh interface is clean, simple, and easy to use; I had little trouble finding songs to download from all of my favorite bands. Playing them with Windows Media Player 10 was another matter–at first the software hung, for me, on “finalizing”, and was unable to complete the download process. I able to resolve it by upgrading to WMP 11. Since the program is free to try for 14 days, interested users can easily find out if they will be able to use the software without difficulty.
