Many people are wondering on when the new windows 7 is coming out. For a long time we were waiting for a word from microsoft announcing the date. Officially Microsoft announced the new realase of Windows seven in Januray 2009:

Not even a full day after hearing that the Windows Vista / Server SP2 beta would be breaking loose for select individuals tomorrow, in flies word that a Windows 7 beta could be out and about as early as next month. Granted, this conjecture is far less written in stone, but on the official MSDN Developer Conference website we’re told that “all attendees will receive a Windows 7 Beta 1 DVD.” The events are scheduled to run from December to January, and given the whole “attendees at events scheduled for December will have DVDs mailed to them when they become available” coupled with the line we quoted before, it’s a pretty safe bet that next month is it. Hang tight, Windows lovers — your first real peek into the wide world of WinVII could be just around the bend.Darren Murph, Microsoft Windows 7 beta due out in January 2009?, Dec 2008

WordPress 2.7 represents a huge shift away from earlier versions of WordPress – at least in the administration area. Most of the changes will be visible to bloggers, but not blog readers. But the changes in the admin area are huge. First, the navigation menus have all been moved to the left side of the screen, giving you more room at the top of the page. The submenus are all also collapsible, which allows you to navigate the administration interface without reloading the page as often.Brad Linder, WordPress 2.7 coming tomorrow, Dec 2008

MySpace just launched (globally) its streaming video content feature for mobiles. It works with the BlackBerry Bold, Palm Centro, Motorola Q9, LG Voyager, Nokia N95, Samsung Instinct, and more. With 3 billion page views per month, m.myspace.com is huge and there’s little doubt that a good chunk of these users will watch a video from time to time, making wireless operators drooling over the prospect of selling more data plans. It’s unclear how MySpace will monetize this new feature, but I guess that making users happy might be a good start.MySpace Mobile now Features Streaming Videos (in Beta), Dec 2008
